Enjoy a special afternoon engaging with your son or daughter, granddaughter or grandson, parent or grandparent, niece, nephew, aunt, uncle or another friend from a younger or older generation. Zentangling together can break down generational barriers and deepen understanding and caring while having fun together!


This special Zentangle session is designed for adult/adult and adult/older child or teen intergenerational pairs. It provides an introduction to the Zentangle method and its mindful meditative practice. Tangle patterns and techniques will be taught in a supportive, encouraging and caring environment. How Zentangling together can enhance intergenerational relationships will be noted. No prior art experience is required -- there are no mistakes in Zentangle art, only opportunities to explore our creativity.

Drawing for Real is a beginning drawing class meant to explore impactful realistic drawing.  In this four-part class I’ll provide lessons that are progressive and fine-tuned towards making drawings that stand out!  


You will discover drawing fundamentals and techniques that offer a variety of processes toward realism.  Within the four sessions you will go from drawing realistic simple still life objects to producing more intricate still life images and drawings from photos/images.  


This is the class for you if you want to enhance your drawing ability or learn how to draw with impact.  I believe anyone, with practice, can make their drawings POP and Draw For Real!

Transform bits of fabric, trim, and memory-filled textiles into something new. You can use virtually any kind of fabric you like. As an introduction for fabric collage, this will be a no-sew project. 


This is a great way to jump-start your creative juices and make something you can keep or give as a gift.


We’ll be making some collage cards and a collage you can frame using the supplied templates or design your own.
 

No prior art experience required. Beginners welcome! No sewing will be required. All materials supplied, but if you have some favorite fabric, buttons, ribbons, trim etc. feel free to bring it along!

Gelli printing is a simple form of printmaking without the need for a printing press. The basic techniques of this fun and creative process are easy to learn and can be used to make so many amazing creations such as framed pieces, greeting cards, and art journal pages – your imagination is your only limit.

Acrylic Pour, Swipe Technique Workshop with Debi L. Drew

 Students will be given a successful formula to prepare acrylic paint for use in acrylic pours. Examples will be shown and the uncontrolled aspects of the pours will be discussed. 


A swipe technique will be demonstrated. Then students will explore and create three of their own acrylic pour swipes (one 12”by12”, and two 4”x 6”) to take home and marvel over! It is quite addictive and fun, some even find it relaxing.

Participant minimums and maximums; cancellations and no-shows.

  • Unless stated otherwise, workshops have a minimum required registration of  3. If this number is not achieved by noon of the day before the workshhop is to take place, the workshop will be cancelled and we will refund payments by cash, receivable at the gallery, or by check at the gallery or through the mail. We regret that we cannot refund directly to credit and debit cards at this time.
  • Unless stated otherwise, workshops have a maximum enrollment of 8. This is to ensure adequate individual attention. This is a firm number; we will not have the supplies to accommodate "one more."  We will be disabling enrollment links as soon as we know this maximum has been achieved: in the unfortunate event that someone registers after the maximum has been reached but before the links have been disabled, we will offer 1) first place in the waiting line, and 2) refund by cash or check. Please note, your registration will not be considered complete, and you will not be considered to be part of the roster used to determine whether the workshop is full, until payment is received by the Gallery.
